String - Organisers

The organizers are part of our range of accessories. The organizers fit together with 30 cm deep wire panels from String® System and the wire screen from Works™.

Let the organizers spark your creativity and keep your pens in one of them, rulers in the other and why not plant something in the third. They are also a great help in the kitchen since they can store your kitchen utensils. The organizers are made of biocomposite material containing 40% wood fibres. Each pack contains three organizers in the following sizes: (1) w9 x d7 x h12 cm (2) w20 x d8 x h8 cm (3) w12 x d7,5 x h8 cm.

'Modern since 1949'. String is the original component shelving system designed by the Swedish architect Nils Strinning in 1949. He was one of the leading mid-twentieth century designers who built the foundation of what we now call 'Scandinavian design'.

The structure is light weight, yet stable. It is simple to assemble, and the shelves can be easily repositioned. Books are kept in place by the side panels and shelves of different depths can be combined in the same unit. When more shelf space is needed, simply add an additional side panel and some shelves. It is equally suited to a large or a small wall. This and the minimalistic timeless design is the reason why String still attracts attention after 70 years.
