Getting a Grip on the GRAPP
A quiet achiever, the GRAPP chair has been a staple in our range for a reason. We might like to jump and shout about our colour-loaded furniture options and chairs made from recycled household plastics. But the time has certainly come to shine the well-deserved spotlight on this elegant design from the Houe collection.
Designers at Houe describe the GRAPP as “a chair that is obviously placed in a visual field of tension where a conscious play with voluminous curves and light appearance go hand-in-hand to create an exciting contrast.”
That really is a glorious way of saying the design of the chair is neither angular or round yet a little of both. It’s a subtle balance that is both elegant and attention grabbing – that is the GRAPP.
Like all Houe designs, we love the fact that this chair not only looks stylish but is super comfortable too. The gentle curve of the seat back provides the firm support you seek in a good quality chair while the Buffalo leather seat is practical and strong, making this an excellent choice for commercial environments as well.
The GRAPP also features sleek armrests in oiled oak, giving a lovely soft and natural feel to what can be an otherwise stark, very architectural chair.
