Danish Furniture Limited is the importer and distributor of HOUE & Skovby Danish furniture, with our offices, furniture showroom and distribution centre in Tauriko, Tauranga.

Launched in 2016 Danish Furniture is a wholly owned New Zealand company. We purchased the business in early 2020, the day before the first Level 4 lockdown.

Our focus is on providing quality, ethically made and sustainable Danish furniture at reasonable prices.

We’ve since broadened our offering to include the iconic String furniture from Sweden and the premium New Zealand-made Shadowspec umbrella range.

Our team at Danish Furniture strive to provide a high level of communication, excellent customer service and premium product support.

After a year in the role as Danish Furniture's Sales Manager and seeing the very positive responses from the public to HOUE's innovative furniture designs and the potential for future growth, Drew purchased the business in early 2020.

Drew has a background in adventure tourism and sales with personal interests in design; digital and physical. He has spent many years abroad and worked internationally in the UK, Switzerland, the Caribbean, Turkey, Chile, Nepal, Australia and many countries in Africa, 

Karin is a senior Chartered Accountant at a Tauranga based accountancy practice, completing her Bachelor of Management Studies with a major in Accounting in 2008. Karin then qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2011. Her background in business strategy and financial management provides Danish Furniture Ltd with sound business direction and planning.

Drew & Karin live in Tauranga with their daughters, and a menagerie of pets.
