We are sure that you will absolutely LOVE your Danish Furniture purchase as soon as it takes pride of place in your home.
However, we do also understand that mistakes can be made; sizing can be miscalculated, colours can be misinterpreted or suitability can be mistaken. While we would expect you to know straight away if what you ordered isn't quite right, we still think that 30-days is a fair amount of time to arrange the return of your purchased items to our warehouse.
Please take a moment to read our Returns & Refund Policy before you send anything back, just so we all have our ducks-in-a-row and can support your request as efficiently as possible.
If you have a product to return you can either phone, or email us. The more information we have the faster we can manage it. When you call or email, please have your order/invoice number ready.
Returns & Refund Policy:
If the received products do not meet your expectations, we accept product returns at any time up to 30 days from date of purchase. The furniture must be in their original condition with the original protective packaging and be in sale-able condition.
When you return the furniture to us, you will be required to pay for the return freight cost unless we have made an error in connection with your purchase. You can either arrange the return shipment yourself, or we can arrange collection which will be invoiced to you. We can then send you a replacement product, or refund you, less any freight costs incurred.
When We Cannot Accept Returns:
We cannot offer a replacement, or refund in obvious cases of misuse, alteration or mishandling of the product. In addition, our returns policy only applies if you purchased the product new, directly from us.
If an item arrives faulty or damaged (either in transit, or out of the box), we will replace it and collect the faulty, or damaged item at our cost. For damaged or faulty returns, please provide us with the specific details and photos of the damage/fault in an email to us, so we can resolve the issue efficiently.
You have the right of complaint within a 24 month period from the day you receive your goods purchased from danishfurniture.nz. This means that you may be eligible for a repair, replacement, refund or price deduction if your purchase has a defect and that the defect existed at the time of delivery. The defect must not be caused by improper use of the goods or other harmful behaviour. You must make your claim within a reasonable period of time after becoming aware of the defect. If your claim is justified, we will also refund your documented transport costs for return of the goods.
Please note: Failing to protect your wooden furniture with regular seasonal applications of WOCA Wood Oil, leaves the wood unprotected from the mould, algae or fungi spores in the rain water, causing possible discoloration. This is not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. This can be removed, but is much more time consuming than a quick 10 minute seasonal re-application of WOCA Wood Oil, to protect your danish furniture and keep it looking fantastic.
